Lots of cute little secret garden paths ways. Surprisingly quiet even though it is right next to busy road. Well maintain small gardens. Semi enclosed kids area recently remade with creative playground equipment.

A river side children park in Hamilton, Newzealand having children play areas, little water pool, walking areas adjacent to waikato river. Nice place for children and elders. Well maintained flowers at the entrance.

It's a cool little park, apart from the water features needing a bit of TLC my grandchildren love it. Awesome pathways to wander, waterways very tranquil winding through and along the bush pathways. Cross the little bridge.

Beautiful scenery with a bird aviary that has parrots. Nice walkways. Shallow wading pools for the kids and a playground. Dont forget bug spray because the mosquitoes/sandflies arebrutal!!

Fabulous day out for some family fun. It has slides, swings, three shallow fresh water pools, a seesaw, bird cages and heaps of picnic spots for the family to relax. Or you can, take a slow stroll through a mini forest with a gentle stream running through it and ducks paddling into the Waikato River.Some wonderful history can be seen and felt here. It certainly is a must visit for all big or small!

A family friendly park which is worth visiting. We have a good walk along the Waikato River and the close by Soldiers Memorial Park. The children especially Golders will definitely love the playground area.With memorial to soldiers involved in the WWI and WWII, a bit history for us to remember.

Wonderful place. An awesome walk and day out place. As you walk more with fresh air, you can explore beauty of Waikato river and Hamilton.

This park has always been a must stop on every trip to or through Hamilton. It is one of the more quieter areas and is situated right by the Waikato River with a nice view of the city on the other side.It is a great location for heaps of photos and a walk down to the river bank. It is probably one of my favourite parks in NZ.There is not much else to say other than that it is a great spot for walking, relaxing or photography.NOTE: Photos were taken right after the first flooding that took place in February. The river is not usually that high.
