I tried to ring them but no one answers the phone, Even if i left a message, I never got a call back. So we booked online a family cabin which would have been great until they parked a tent in front and we lost all our beach views. The access roads are so tight it's almost impossible to get around.Location location location is the best thing going for it... everything else is average.

What a shame of this beautiful location. It could have been so much better. Instead, the overal experience was very unpleasant.Staff was very unwelcoming, the facilities had an unfriendly appearance. For instance, you need a key for the use of all amenities, and in the kitchen are signs with warn you about theft. It could be meant well, but just the necessities of these signs (which weren't needed at other holiday parks) gave us an unfriendly feeling. The campsites have literally no privacy: not from other guest as well as from people passing by to Mt Maunganui. Next to this, we paid the highest price so far for a holiday park camp site. You'd expect a lot more for this price.

A frequent stop for us on motorhome trips. Usually a great experience but desk staff mediocre at best this time, and we could not get into the toilet block with fobs provided. Staff unmoved by this issue when checking out.

Pros - the location is excellent, but sadly means the park are able to charge extortionate prices for mediocre facilities. The beach and the walks around it are great, however you can access these publicly anyway.Cons - you cannot control the shower temperatures, plus they are on a timer. I was unable to get the sink water hot enough to shave. You are charged $1 to use their WiFi. No other holiday parks I have been to charge for this, despite this one being the most expensive we have stayed at.

This is the best park in New Zealand. Well the best of all the parks we have stayed at in 7 weeks of touring. Amazing location, thermal pool on site and 2 beaches. Close to great pubs and restaurants. Competitively priced and very helpful staff. Love it!

Amazing location, close to the sea, Mount & wonderful Salt Water Hot Pools.Kitchen and bathrooms cleanVintage caravans need some maintenance, love and tidying up (there was an orange substance on the ceiling). Double mattress in caravan was far too short for an average sized adult. Kitchen and Shower-blocks absolutely freezing, no heating at all in wintry conditions. No clothes line option to naturally dry any clothes or towels except outside in the pouring rain - (Not everyone would like to use a dryer due to environmental reasons and not suitable for togs) Internet has to be paid for but does not meet any working standards for modern websites - it is far too slow. Small adjustments could make a real difference overall. Customer service was friendly though.

Great facilities, very clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Beach on the door step. Caravan parks quite tight for our caravan 7m .... Can recommend the Turkish place opposite for dinner, they had kids friendly options for our fussy kids.

I am very disappointed in my experience at this holiday park. I have been going here every year with family and friends for over 6 years now and have always had great service. However, new company policies have seriously ruined my experience with only being allowed one car on the campsite when we have previously bought two. As a family of five who are now all adults we have often taken more then one car and often parked one in the designated spot and squeezed one onto our campsite ensuring we are still in the property lines. We have also previously been able to pay to park an extra car in a parking spot that isn’t being used, for example by an RV as they often only use the site and not the parking spot. However, now we are being told we have to park on the street and are not allowed under any circumstances to have more than one car on our property even if we aren’t taking up any extra space. In addition to this as a family of five we normally get four thobs to access the facilities and sometimes have offered to pay extra to obtain more thobs. However, we are now being told we are not able to have more than two thobs, even though we always have one family member out surfing who needs the thob to get back into the campsite leaving only one thob between four people who are all often doing different things. This also means other people are often unable to leave the camps site as other people need the thobs to access the facilities. We have tried to be polite with staff and negotiate, but these circumstances are unreasonable. We have been appalled by the attitude of some staff as they have been very rude and not willing to help. This holiday park is no longer a viable option for large families and isn’t friendly to large groups of people. I am very disappointed in the holiday park and my experience and will likely no longer continue to come. I would not recommend this place to any family as they really only accommodate their policies for couples or small groups.

Bad value for money. You get a nice view at Mt. Manganui but thats it. Kitchen was fine. The Bathrooms were a 4/10. Felt like going to a public toilet which you had to pay for. You couldn't even adjust the heat of the shower. No free Wifi and just way to expensive for what you got.

Awesome location, however not enough time or money spent in keeping customers happy. Caravans very run down and basic, and also I noticed ants crawling around on the kitchen benchtops. They are also absolutely FREEZING inside so keep that in mind. On Day 1 of my stay one of the lightbulbs blew out so I had to go to the office twice to ask them to replace it (after offering to do it myself). The guy finally came to replace it after rudely knocking on the door even when he saw I was on a phone call.Upon checking out, I was not asked for ANY feedback or comments hoping that I had a nice time. I would use them again only as a last resort.
