Pelorus Bridge Scenic Reserve

Stunning as always. Great spot to have a swim and snorkel. There were heaps of trout in the water too!

We only did the loop walk as we were out of time. The water was so clear and the views were lovely. Visited in October but we’re hoping to be back this summer to have a swim.:)

We did the walk to both waterfalls. A bit narrow along the cliff bit but with sensible shoes ok. Not recommended for young kids or when wet. A really lovely area though.

Beautiful place to stop off at. Great selection of walks. We did 2 of the mini bush walks...x30mins each...The Cafe had a great selection of food. Super tasty. Great service. The Cafe was super busy, but staff handled it efficiently.

There are a few others trails available for people to walk around.For me purely to see the suspension bridge, very nice of the cafe crew to advise me the way.So the suspension bridge is after the vehicle crossing bridge, on the right before the trail there is signboard indicate.Short walk and you will see the suspension bridge. When I came here, it was raining. No good for me!

The bridge is an interesting place to stop and walk across. Amazing engineering. It would be a lovely place for a refreshing dip in the crystal clear water. The Cafe is also recommended for morning tea.

Beautiful place. Unfortunately the day we went, the river was murky cause of all the rain from the previous days.But that didn't stop me from proposing to my girlfriend.It is a magical spot and rememberable to us now.

A very easy walk on well maintained tracks through some huge native trees. Lots of birds and some interesting fungi to photograph. Unfortunately the cafe closed yesterday (20 April 2023).

The parking for Emerald pool is at the end of the road. You can't miss it because there's signs and a gate to private property where you can't go any further. There's declines and inclines throughout this track and very narrow sections, so mind your step. It is a lovely track and very secluded. We enjoyed the entire route there and back without passing anyone else. It was sprinkling the day we went, which, of course, made things a bit muddy, but just be careful and continue at your own comfort level. It was still cold the day we went, so we didn't get in the pool, but we'll be back for sure. The color of the water was absolutely beautiful. There's a few mini waterfalls along the way. There are a few rock crossings that might be slippery. The end is very open and flattish enough to lay down on a blanket and relax. Maybe have a picnic with your swim. Can't remember exactly how long it took us maybe 1.5hrs or 2. We don't typically keep track just enjoy being out in nature.
