Island View Fish N Chips
Took in my fresh fish caught that day and all I got back was a oil soaked ball of batter and fish which I struggled to separate with a fork and my children didn’t even want to eat it and they love eating fish. Extremely disappointed.

Terrible value for money. 2 scoops of chips (almost $9 worth) and not enough for 4 adults and two small children…We are locals and it was less than they usually give us for 1 scoop. Realise they busy at this time of year but that shouldn’t affect the portion sizes…. Disappointing.

Can honesty say we have never had better takeaways from a fish and chip shop. The cheeseburger patties looked homemade, and the beetroot and grated carrot made them amazing. The snapper melted in your mouth and the chips were perfectly cooked. So impressed!!!

Good service. Good fish & chips. Has variety of seafood & burgers. You can choose either frozen & fresh fish. They cook in canola oil NOT peanut oil (To be safe, for peanut allergies, always ask). You can buy tomatoe sauce & tartare sauce here but not drinks. Drinks can be bought from the Dairy next door. Opening hours don't match what's on their website. They open at 4pm. Parking available. Located near the beach. Takeaway. No dine in. Mask required for entry. Vaccine Pass NOT required.

Handy Fish n Chip shop, beside a Dairy & it's just 2 minute flat walk to beach, with car parking for cars and camper vans, handy toilet block. Plus a lovely view of Mayor Island too!
