I've been lucky enough to work with Jodi a number of times over the past few years and could not recommend her more highly. She has taken absolutely beautiful photos of my (not at all cooperative) children and dogs. She always puts everyone at ease with her lovely, professional but relaxed manner and the results speak for themselves! I've recommended Jodi to many other people for all sorts if different photography jobs and will continue to do so - she really is amazing

We met with Jodi and Rhys, we thought they were super lovely people, had the same ideas as us for our wedding. Unfortunately we got to the day and from the time Jodi arrived she was very scattery and flustered making me feel very nervous and uneasy on my wedding day. Pointing out things that really didn't matter and weren't a big deal. I had made a list of import photos to be taken, given the list to Jodi my MC also had the list and we both tried to remind Jodi of the photos only to be told to 'just wait', we were taken off site ( which is definitely not what we had planned!). Anyway, 5 months later( she told us this would be the case as they left our wedding) we got back some good photos, however I have none that I asked for, bridesmaids, photos with my family photos at our wedding venue where I asked for photos to be. Jodi did say I can Re-Do the photos with my bridesmaids, but unfortunately we can't afford a Re-Do hair make up and venue hire, it just won't be the same. We received alot of photos Jodi deemed important. Rhys was amazing and he was there with the groom & boys as they were getting ready, you can very much see in the photos that they were much more relaxed and comfortable.300ish photos came back, maybe 20 look like professional photos hense the 2 star rating, the rest are photos of pointless things, a photo of a stranger walking past us along the lake front, a whole wedding photo where the isle decorations are blocking the guests.I'm heart broken definitely wouldn't recommend. For the photos we got back I wouldn't even pay half her fee.REPLY. I'm not sure how to reply to your comment Jodi. I'm glad you made that album public, however please don't forget to mention you added more photos before doing so.Also we discussed staying at the Hilton for photos you chose to take us away without giving us an option. I definitely didn't say all photos we received were terrible I did say there was a few good ones, yes our make up artist has chosen a few to use.I have no doubts you put alot of effort into getting us the photos but the important ones to us that we asked for prior to our day aren't there. How would you feel if you didn't get a picture with important family, your children or your bridesmaids on your day?Also I'm disappointed that you chose a public forum to tell me we were difficult on the day when in fact your private emails to me said you had a wonderful time and it was a great wedding to shoot.My motive ? Not to have anyone else feel as heartbroken and disappointed as me on their day.Reviews are for honest opinions and that was mine.

We loved having Jodi spend a couple of spring morning's with us at Country Kidz. Her professionalism, experience, and gentle nature put all our children at ease for our daycare's photoshoot. Jodi worked with each child's disposition and her eye for detail and her ability to capture so many special moments meant our whānau all received the most beautiful photo's. I would absolutely recommend Jodi to anyone who is looking for a photographer for young children.

Great photography team. They shot our wedding and we don't have any experience in taking professional photos. Their directions were very clear and their lovely personality made us feel relaxed. The photos are awesome.

We were so lucky to have Jodi and Rhys capture our wedding day at the Mission Estate Winery in Hawkes Bay. They both did such a fantastic job from initial contact through to receiving our photos and it was so awesome to have 2 photographers on the day to capture all the special moments. Their attention to detail was second to none, which was reflected in the incredible photographs that we received. We have had so many wonderful comments from our family and friends about our photos and would happily recommend Jodi and Rhys to anyone looking for a photographer to capture life’s special moments.

Our photoshoot with Jodi was truly wonderful. Jodi’s professionalism, skills and kindness made the photo shoot (with our 1 year old daughter) very enjoyable and fun, and the resulting photos are simply stunning!We recommend Jodi Glidden Photography hands down and without hesitation! Where do I start. A meet and greet with Jodi and hubby gave us a good vibe and we locked in our wedding photos to be done with them. Myself and hubby got more than expected with photos I did not even know she snapped as we did ask for those really informal moments before our wedding. The wedding ceremony photos were amazing. We hired a garden and Jodi and hubby utilised the venue well with a variety of photos in different spots. We had classic cars and she snapped some awesome memories for us. I would use again in a heartbeat and would recommend. We still hear from Jodi and see some snippets used on her social media page which is great to see. We can't thank you enough.
