What a great market. I loved the paella that was there. Did not get to try it but it looked beautiful. Lots of people and everyone having a wonderful time together.

Small, as in about 10 tents. Yet if you want fruit and veg, honey and bread, tea or coffee or hot chocolate or milk and a few treats then I suggest you go.Oh and they are all local. I'm sure there's something for everyone...Wait, did I mention the bacon sammies?

Napier Urban Farmer's Market
It was light showers as we got to the market. Both sides of the street along the park had market stalls. As we were travelling onto Wellington we could not buy any fresh produces or perishables, even if these were looking so good and fresh at the stalls. We did decide to buy from the bakery stall as we could eat these along the way. Definitely would come back and with more time to stay.

Napier Urban Farmer's Market
A great Saturday market, the little sister to the larger one in Hastings on Sundays. Our favourite stalls are the bacon sandwich caravan, Yeast Coast (try the Turkish Loaf and the cinnabons!), and Te Mata Figs. The stall selection changes often depending on the season, weather etc but there’s always something good to eat or buy.
