Their cooking taste very authentic compared to other japanese shops. Their food is always freshly prepared. I never mind waiting because it always taste great. They are also very lovely to chat with, very friendly :)

Thank you very much to the kind lady and man who served me today. They were very kind and welcoming and made lovely salmon and avocado Sushi. Very generous sizes and supa yummy. Beware I might be coming back for seconds.

Accidently stumbled upon this place while we were out looking for some Thai food. Other Thai restaurants were closed, and Azumaya happened to have Thai dishes as well along with the Japanese meals. We were absolutely happy to say we had the best Pad Thai in Auckland! Beats authentic Thai restaurants too! We will definitely be coming back & highly likely will be regulars, and would love to try everything else in the menu. Lovely couple running the shop, will keep coming back!

Best best best sushi you will get in town, always freshly made with generous amounts of fresh salmon. If you were blindfolded it would be hard to tell between this place and an expensive uptown place. I always come here and buy heaps and am always happy with the quality.

Had lunch here with 4 hungry children <8yo after a swim at the local pools nearby. They had some ready-to-go meals which they offered to heat up as we dined in. Good value and we left very satisfied. There's a menu board to order from, so we may try that next time we're in the mood for Japanese takeaway food/sushi.

Okonomiyaki and chicken cutlet curry was made fresh, nicely packaged and so delicious. Very nice owners too. Worth trying out if you’re looking for food in the area.

One of my favourite local places to eat. The Japanese couple that run it are really friendly and make great food at affordable prices. Highly recommended!

I went with my sister. The old couple are super friendly and cute, they heated up our food in the microwave and the overall customer service was awesome. I plan to go there again

Tonight I picked up the most disgusting two meals of takeout it has ever been my misfortune to smell let alone attempt to eat. The katsu chicken was slimy as if it had been cooked 3 days ago then microwaved. The chicken noodle soup looked and tasted like canned chicken with noodles that disintegrated when you touched them with your chop sticks.
