Cosy bar linked to picture theater. Lovely atmosphere. Very clean and tidy. Drinks nice. Lovely fireplace and separate areas so not to noisy. Well worth a visit. Recommend

Dropped in for a quick drink before dinner. We ordered a Panhead Rat Rod Hazy IPA $10 and a lemon meringue cocktail for $18. Prices are reasonable and cocktail was great.

I just ordered the jalapeño poppers. Tasted fantastic. Quick and polite service. Going to come here again just for the poppers when I'm in te anau next

We dropped by Black Dog Bar on Tue, 7 Mar and enjoyed our experience so much that we went back again this evening!They have a wide selection of drinks, spirits and wine - and even introduced us to a new martini, Lillet!Kudos to Andrew and Rashel for their friendliness, genuine warmth and tip top service. Bravo!!!

Black Dog Bar
This is a cool place!! They have there own great beer on tap, a cinema attached, a great little patio to enjoy, and it has a fireplace on the deck at night to still enjoy the outside. The staff was cracking jokes and funny and it really wasn’t overpriced. I can’t think of a better stop for the evening in this town. I highly recommend it!!

Small intimate place, with a beautiful bar and welcomed by their smiling bartenders. Loved the cocktail special and their tap beers!
