We camped here for three nights, and what a wonderful place it is. Reception staff went out of their way to accommodate us and were very pleasant and cheerful. We were able to book a shuttle for the tongariro crossing through them.Top notch facilities, some of the best showers and toilets we have experienced in our trip through New Zealand. There is a pleasant river that runs next to the camp, and the great town of ohakune is right outside the front door. Can't recommend this place enough.

One of the best top 10's we came across! The bathrooms are so clean and modern and they even have a family bathroom well equipped for supporting little ones wih their bathtime needs, even infants. One word, FANTASTIC.

Top 10 Ohakune is set amongst lovely bush lands walking distance to the township, the staff are lovely and accommodating, facilities are great and the rooms & cabins are nice and warm. We have been back multiple times for a car club we are a part of and the venue suits us very well and the staff make us all (a large group) feel at home. The playground is great for kids and sure we’ll set up for families.

A wonderful place to stay. Came for a night in a caravan with friends. They have kitchens, electricity and well lit areas, as well as an amazing bathroom as well, clean and warm for a cold night. In the kitchen, they have many stoves, and even an oven as well. People there were friendly and warm as well! Highly recommended.

Fantastic place to stay, had all of the mod cons that we needed to stay as a family camping. Great location with the beach so close, great facilities- clean and modern . Pool was amazing and staff super helpful.

Quiet location in easy walk of the town. Everything is clean and tidy, excellent playground and play rooms for kids, good communal kitchen too. We stayed in a self contained until which is perfect for a small family with minimal hassle.

We were in a campervan. Clean and neat grounds. The showers were 5 star with heated towel rails. And powerful showers.
