This is a great store and brand. Unfortunately short staffed today, and stock levels as per the website did not match stock levels in store. Perhaps understandable given the time of year, but why have on line stock indications if it's not live and reflective of what's actually in store.

I usually get excellent service here. Not today. I bought a faulty product a couple of months ago, was told to bring it in so they could take a look. So I brought it in Saturday morning, as I work during the week, and was told they are too busy at the weekends to help me, I should leave it with them or bring it back during the week. I was told I couldn't talk to the manager because she was busy. As I left the store there were five staff idly chatting at the cash tills, none of them serving a customer, go figure!

I bought a bike back in November 2022, I bought a bike from in store. I understood that it would take some time, however, it was about a week after the date that I was told the bike would be ready when I had to enquire to find out what was going on (no contact until I engaged it). Then in March 2023 I dropped my bike off for some repairs as there is an issue with the gears (not sure what's wrong but I have only been bike to and from work). When I dropped it off I was told someone would call me when it was booked in, I called 4 days later asking what was happening and was told that they would call me once it was all booked in. at the end of the week I hadn't heard anything so went into store when no-one picked up the phone. I was then told that it has now been booked in for April (about 2 weeks after I had dropped it off).I am mostly annoyed by the lack of communication.

The young man who served us was extremely knowledgeable and gave us some really good advice. Got a fantastic discount through the NZMCA also!

What a mess and horrible customer service!We bought a SUP at the store and had to give it back to due to accessory repairs (broken pump after third time using it, adjustment of paddle length not working any more).We were told that the repair will take about two or maximum three weeks.After that period we didn't get an answer from the Tauranga staff as well the phone customer service (useless!) and called them several times for information. It was a lie that they will call us back which never happened. We had to insist to clarify the replacement process and when and where to pick up a new SUP.What a unorganised staff there!Finally we waited 9 weeks for a replacement which is unaccetable if you are here during your holiday.Don't buy your camping gear at Torpedo7 Tauranga!

Purchased a couple of Mammoth X9 e scooters today. Customer service was second to none. Sales person was very helpful, friendly and would definitely look for her next visit.

I normally get good service from these guys, BUT I bought an exercise machine that had a part missing. I called them. The guy said he could not help me. Refered me to a shop. I went to the shop. Spoke to a lady ther. I had to send her photos of what was missing. Never heard back from them. Yes she did receive my email.

So rude and uselessAlways don't take the call which all my friends said that.I asked them why one female staff said they are always busy. What a joke. So many staffs were there you were talking each other. Do you job or be kind

Shocking service . Drove 35 mins as told I had to come in and order. Said there was no stock anywhere in nz . Called another nz store in Auckland who had plenty of stock and they were happy to do the order and ship . No idea what they are doing

Helpful friendly staff.. Needed 2 ponchos which they had. We're happy customers..
