This is quite away up hillside but worth it for the veiws-if l remember rightly there are around 70 steps

Stairs aren't all evenly spaced but there is a seat half way to stop and catch your breath. Pity about the graphiti on the walls and the rubbish inside. Trees could be trimmed so you can see what they saw from inside.

Decent little trail up to a small gun emplacement. Views out over Greymouth and Cobden are okay but nothing hugely special. Doesn't take long though so probably worth a look if you've got a spare 15-30 minutes.

Just a short walk up lots (around 120) steps but nice views over Cobden, greymouth & grey river
