Even in the inclement weather, we were impressed with this place. It is much larger than we were expecting, and the carved poles are exquisite. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the Hawkes Bay area.

This is a cool spot that covers a bit of Māori history and explains how to use the star map. You can also walk around the marsh and beach from the sculpture garden.
