Chipmunks Playland & Cafe Papanui
My daughter had her birthday party at Papanui Chipmunks on Sunday (25 June). The kids had a lot of fun and the adult sandwich platter was great. Our host, Liam, was great. I really appreciated Liam's approach to their work. Liam was super friendly, helpful, and just really contributed to a great experience.

Chipmunks Playland & Cafe Papanui
Today I took my children to Chipmunks Papanui and they had so much fun. A young lad named Liam (staff) stood out today. His duty when we arrived was to handout the ice creams and watch the kids decorate them with lots of yummy treats. He had exceptional customer service skills and smiled whilst talking to the kids. We were there for majority of the day and every time I seen him he was hard at work. Great work ethic for a young guy and such a great attitude. This is very rare these day. 10/10 Liam, your parents should be very proud.Thanks Chipmunks Papanui.

We had a bad experience here, being policed at door about not being able to bring our own food in that we packed of fresh fruit and sandwiches, or being allowed to have a pass out to go to car and eat them, we had choice to buy things like pizzas burgers slurpies ($25+) for children?We ordered coffee and it came in a takeaway cup when we wereobviously sitting in Total waste of plastic. Kids had a play but not nearly as much to do as other playgrounds similar

Chipmunks is absolutely great for the kids (and fun for adults too to be honest). It's set up well and feels as clean as it can be for having children come and go all day. The cafes actually really good and pretty reasonable too. Can be busy at times but that's expected.Would love some sort of reward system for regulars though.P.s. So good that you get in free if your baby's under 1.

So good that it’s free for parents and children under 1. Can be very busy at times but big space with lots of seating and a large soft play area, with bouncy Castle, ball pit and much more. If you time it right then you can get in around the crowds. Lots of parking, and a cafe inside. When you first come in you just wait at the gate for someone to come let you in.

Amazing place to take your children! We have had lots of fun here & no hazards! My girl loves it! She’s had her birthday here & the staff are Amazing! Love Suzy! & all the team! Would highly recommend ☺️

They are open on waitangi day! We were there 5 to half past nine and there were 3 cars waiting outside. This place is clean, well presented and organised. Staff quality and sevices vary depending on who you get. We've had a lady who was very nice and friendly while another one was very rude. The wait on food and drink is crazy long. They are very strict on socks-on policy for both children and adults and trying their best to keep older kids out of the toddler area, which is very good.
