Had a great experience today, 1st got a cut, then decided I'd like foils. Had the beautiful Ruby do my foils. They turned out awesome. Thank you so much. Ruby will make an awesome hairdresser.

Covid hair loss led me to wearing a hat most of the time, but I took a chance going to Lifestyle….and was so delighted. The stylist Atarina created a style that suited me while my hair grows out again. And everyone there was just lovely and friendly.

I love coming to this salon. It is filled with happy vibrant people who are very skilled with what they do. The atmosphere is really cool, a really nice place to be to get your hair done and unwind from a busy week. Sarah the stylist is Absolutely Awesome and knows her stuff! Highly recommend this place. I drive from the Kapiti Coast to come over here. Cheers team for making every visit an enjoyable one.

This is for an individual working at the Salon.Ange has been my hairdresser for give or take 3 years, she is an exceptional hairdresser and is such an asset to the Salon. Ange listens to her clients, takes her time to make sure they are happy with the result, offer real advice rather than promising something that may not be possible. She does beautiful fine foil work, cuts that suit and is such a lovely person to spend a few hours with. I always look forward to my appointment with Ange, I would not go to anyone else - if she leaves the industry, I will be devastated and if she is snapped up by some other salon I would follow her right there. I appreciate your wonderful customer service Ange, you are the sole reason I go to this salon, as sometimes I have not felt like a valued customer there. Keep doing amazing work , they are lucky to have you. Also a big nod to Ruby, who assisted at my appointment today, you did a great job and will be a terrific hairdresser under Ange's teaching.

My appointment with Melissa, the Salon owner, was my 4th visit to this Salon. My appt started on time and I was taken through and my nape length hair was washed and I was seated at the mirror. Melissa signaled to me that she would be there after she'd settled the bill with her previous customer. We started with a brief conversation, with me commenting that considering my last cut was 6mths ago, my regrowth was slow. I said I was happy with the overall shape, and really just wanted a light trim all over to reshape and to take out the heaviness of the layer regrowth. She agreed, then said just the fringe then, but I said well no, but I do want it to frame my face. She cut my hair for aprox 10 minutes, layered mouse and gel into it, then spent 10 more minutes blow drying it. Didn't seem very interested in me, but had a loud and very animated conversation with a colleague while attending to me. When she had finished, she commented that there was only a little bit of hair on the floor. Not much at I all said ( less than a dessert spoon). She said she had to leave, as she had something on and one of the girls would look after me. She had a quick conversation with the girl, then dashed out the door. I was asked if I wished to reschedule, to which I answered no thank you. The whole appointment was over in 35 minutes. I was charged $79.50. I was quite shocked at this, and the whole experience, considering how little was done to my hair, in the way of cutting and reshaping it. ( as evidenced by how little hair was on the floor. I wanted to take a picture of it. I should have. It was appalling service really. I did not feel like a valued customer, I felt irrelevant. Maybe it was because I am not a big spender, on the like of foils and colours and treatments etc. I just want a stylist to listen to what I'm requesting and give me a decent hair cut, for a fair and reasonable price. I went straight home and washed my hair, and re dried it back to normal looking, and I could not tell it had even been cut at all. I ended up doing it myself, in front of my bathroom mirror. What a rip off. Needless to say, I will not be going back to Life Style hair, any time soon.

I recently had an amazing experience with Lifestyle Hair. I had my bridal hair done by the lovely Atarina, and had Tyler Assisting with the bridesmaids up-do. My hair turned out exactly as I imagined and looked amazing. I couldn't recommend a better service!

I went to see Ange yesterday and she was amazing! She was so lovely and personable, she seemed to understand exactly what I wanted and she talked me through everything she was doing and showed me colour swatches. She took so much time and care to get my hair perfect and when I left it looked absolutely beautiful. I really love the result thank you so much Ange ❤️ will definitely be back and would recommend her to anybody.
