Visiting NP to see the folks and stopped in here for brunch. Absolutely wonderful experience. I had the Croissant Eggs Bene which was delicious and everyone else was super impressed with their choices as well (also great fries). Coffee was good and service was excellent. Can't recommend this place enough.

Fantastic food and fantastic service in a beautiful environment. Creative and delicious dishes. Fries weren't super crunchy but the rest of the food more than made up for it.

Brought Wellingtonians for lunch. Sat outside on beautiful autumn afternoon. The view is amazing. Parking easy. My son said he had the best coconut mocca ever. High praise indeed from a guy who was a barrista during uni days. I had the wellness bowl with halloumi. The breakfast and lunch menus basically let's you pick all your favourites and build your own meal plus some set items like my wellness bowl but even that had optional extras. There is cabinet food too but we ate from the menu.

Absolutely gorgeous setting, up on the hill overlooking the river.We called in for brunch, and the food was delicious.I can't go past chicken waffles, and these did not disappoint!I can imagine the deck, with the amazing view would be an ideal spot for a beer on a summers afternoon.The staff were incredibly friendly, and they loved our dog.

Ordered quails nest breakfast worth 30.00. You'd think that with that amount, you'll get a very good breakfast meal right? Well, my experience is totally opposite! I found the food very dissapointing! Poached eggs was OVERCOOKED! falafel is dry as hell (like a hard rock literally). The service was meh. Overall a very mediocre place.

We took family from Wellington here for breakfast. They were impressed. The food was lovely, staff were wonderful, which isn't all that common in New Plymouth. We ate on the deck outside, looking at the wonderful view of the river.

Had a lovely dinner there on Sat night. Sat out on the deck as it was a warm calm evening. Everything about Quails Nest is outstanding.

So glad that the previous place we went to told us that there is a long wait time so we decided to find another cafe/restaurant and stumbled upon this eatery. The view is stunning. The service was super rapid. The food is delicious. The mushrooms can be better tho. Prices are reasonable. I added this place to my favourites so that I can recommend it to friends and go there next time I'm in town.
