Lemon Tree
Lemon Tree is one of my favourite places in Christchurch to go for a coffee and some brunch. Everything is so well priced and the atmosphere is really comfy and warm. The food is amazing and the drinks are just as good :) Highly recommend.

Great spot for catch up, located in city centre but away from hustle and bustle, very cozy! The cafe is nicely decorated with Art Deco touch. Sitting here you can relax don’t need to rush finishing your coffee and food. Food portion is surprisingly large and beautifully presented. Highly recommended!

Lovely place to spend an afternoon with friends. Service is very good. Food is tasty too. The best thing is coffee as other cafes may not be able to make large coffee as good as regular size coffee, but Lemon Tree can.

Went to Lemon Tree for a birthday brunch today and it's a 11/10! The food was so incredible, really beautiful presentation and very filling. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Thanks so much for taking care of us and making our afternoon a memory we can't forget.

Iv been here a couple times in the past but it seems it's under new management and not in a good way.Place seemed dusty and windows were dirty. It was also freezing inside.We had to go up to the counter to get served after being seated. There was two people standing behind the counter.The food still seemed the same so that was the only positive really

I came to have brunch with my family. We ordered berry pancakes, which didn't have berries. The menu states that it'll come with ice cream, a waffle cone, strawberries and banana. However it only came with orange, kiwifruit and a bit of cream on top. We asked the waitress about those ingredients that the pancakes were missing and he said that they didn't have any of those ingredients, that's why it came like that (there were bananas on the bench, and the waitress wasn't sure why the chef didn't put it in the dish). I ordered a vegetarian hash, which it came without chickpeas and house relish (mentioned on the menu). The veggies were cooked with some spicy chili and that's it. The vegetarian hash wasn't what it used to be at all. I understand that you can ran out of ingredients, but at least I would have preferred/expected to be told that they didn't have the ingredients before taking my order. I have come to this place more than 5 times, and I have recommended it to a lots of friends. It's a pity. I used to love this place, I will hardly come back.

Super cool, quirky Bohemian vibe here. Loved it. Very different to all the other high street modern cafes in the area. They have old beautiful furniture, lovely little lamps all over and plants. It's a must do in Christchurch if your in the area. Also free WiFi, great coffee, good food and great music taste!

Popped in with my son this morning with the intention of coffee and maybe a slice from the cabinet but ended up ordering from the menu and am I glad we did. My chicken and waffle was quite honestly the best thing I've ever ordered! So so tasty! The berry Pancakes looked spectacular too and our hot drinks were great. The vibe of the place is awesome. Definitely highly recommend, we will be back soon!!
