On my stay in Christchurch from South Australia, I come in with my Nana.Food was great. I ordered Eggs Benedict and a hazelnut latte for lunch. Staff were very friendly and it was a bright and spacious area. Only downside that was disappointing was the staff weren't proactive on clearing and cleaning tables asore customers come in.

Kitchen closed again for the second time in as many weeks, coffee tastes like dirty water and they forgot half the order. Sparkling water on the other hand is always lovely. Such a shame it use to be really nice cafe with great service.

Came in to order food after looking at all day menu at queuing line. Waitress ignored us and then finally turned around to take our order. I was told that the kitchen was closed at 3 pm. Hello u advertise all day menus!!!!! False advertising!!!! Kitchen closed and we were there at 3 pm is not all day menu. Had to settle for cabinet food which was dry and delivered haphazardly to the table. My husbands drink was forgotten and eventually arrived after. young lad was told. He apologized for delay.

So far so good , general table services , very crowded during lunch time and afternoon tea , particular on Saturday and Sunday . Lots of car parks available . Qualtiy and quantity of foods and drinks are normal standard .

I have been coming to Columbus Cafe in Mitro10 Papanui for a few months as a regular now. Today I made the decision to make it as my last visit.I have previously had egg breakfast bun grilled. Today l was served by a different waitress and with a snobby attitude, have been told it can only be microwaved and oven.I do get mine regularly grilled.There is no consistently in this workplace .Some Staff are sassy and they look like they do not want to be here.I like the food and their coffee but the bad service is from certain staff members makes this my last visit

Great place to have good treats and drinks while you are shopping at Mitre10. Great service. I love their Belgian hot chocolate.

Amazing delish coffee at the perfect temperature. The music in the background was perfect and was at the right noise level so I could still talk to family. I would definitely recommend coming here to have a catch up with someone
