Got the Salmon pastrami with potato rosti, remoulade, watercress, pickled egg, crispy capers for $24. Delicious meal, the crispy capers being a nice touch to complement the soft salmon and egg. Service was relatively quick given the place was full.

Excellent, friendly service; top notch coffee; great location. The sausage roll (lamb?) was expensive at $27 but absolutely amazing on a bed of harissa vegetables. Yum!

Great place to enjoy the coffee and relax on a wet day. Tasty meals My children enjoyed their french toast, coffee was on point and service was delightful. Highly recommend the pulled lamb and check out the glass display all made fresh.

My partner and I used to come here now and then, and I notice in the past year or two, the menu has shrunk, less staff and price gone up a lot.We had two bacon and eggs, a tea and a coffee which costed us $80. $34~$37 for a bacon and eggs is, well, expensive.They even charge $2 extra to get your eggs scrambled.The staff are not rude, neither friendly. Neither of them were smiling to customers, perhaps overworked or stressed.I am not sure we are coming back.Last point, there isn’t any phone signal in the cafe.

Another outing in between Christmas Day and New Years. The place was fairly packed, and pumping with patrons, inside and out, basking in the post Christmas Day warmth and sunlight. Understandably, the lunch meals took a wee bit of time, and can I suggest that if you have someone to look after your table, pop across the road and take in the easily accessible rock pools that are so typical of this area of coastline. Mind your footing as it can no doubt get pretty slippery when wet, but if you have young children, this is made for them.The meals are creative, satisfying and well presented. I savoured each one of my duck fat cooked potatoes, while the rest of the gang devoured their respective plates. Thanks to a bit of sharing, we got to appreciate the various flavours, met with lots of appreciative moans. If it’s too crowded out the front, there’s also an area out the back with more seating, and some cabinet food to choose from. On a final note, their home made fruit ice creams are really good. Great food, friendly service and a great location - a solid 4.5 out of 5 from me.

Great tasting food and very nicely presented. I was impressed when I asked if I could have the eggs bene gluten free that it came with a beautiful fried bread as per the menu.Coffee was great as was the cocktail to finish!

Avoid this cafe, both ordered breakfast at the same time, my companion ordered the Baked Beans, her meal came within a reasonable timeframe, I ordered a bacon butty with an Egg, it never got delivered, waited over 50 minutes and asked 3 times was my food being prepared, both times they said yes it was. We walked out and paid for her meal, told them to cancel my order as it still hadn't been delivered. They made a fuss and said it's being made will be 2 minutes away, but they can't control what the kitchen does. I can't comment on the food as it never turned up. Would recommend other cafes in Brooklyn instead of the Beach House.

Lovely lunch with a large group of people (oldies group). The kitchen & waitresses were so efficient coping with us all. Clean, prices great, and all the staff seemed very happy & calm. The food was great! Highly recommend

A bit pricey for the portion sizes, but good-quality food! The red lentil soup and focaccia bread were top notch.
