Musty smell throughout our stay, staff couldn't smell it, but this is probably due to them experiencing it everyday and not noticing it anymore.Tesla chargers have no signs stopping other vehicles from using the parks (no shortage of other spare parks either) which meant we couldn’t charge the car some nights. The staffs suggestion was to park across the parks blocking in the other vehicles if we wanted to charge, which was highly unprofessional…Chargers are intermittently faulty due to a failing isolating switch on the hotels power grid which the hotel refuses to spend the $130 on to replace. We stayed in a room with a bedroom and lounge, bedroom had no AC, only the lounge which meant the bedroom became stuffy and the lounge freezing. We have tried to resolve these issues with he hotel staff during and after our stay, staff haven't shown much interest.

The Crown Hotels website is very misleadingi booked a One Bedroom Premium room at $349 with a front seaview and side buildings view. When I arrived thay gave me a One Bedroom Suite ($239) with a view of the buildings. I argued with the person at reception about the mistake and was told no other premium rooms avaliable and would talk to Manager about a discount. Never heard back. Highly recomend dont book online or trust there site.

Very nice space with comfortable rooms. The owners are a little tight it would seem given no Paywave ability at reception and only the barest of coffee & tea options (no biscuits) in the rooms. The housekeeping staff however do a great job and while the reception team was a little too fuctional versus welcoming, the people were great. Overall, the expense doesn't quite match the experience.

We just stayed as two groups in 2 x 2 bedroom premier suites. Lovely rooms recently refurbished. Underfloor bathroom heating appreciated along with fully functioning kitchens. Lovely dressing gowns too and fantastic view of the water. Lovely hearing ocean as we went to sleep. Slight road noise on weekend but worth it for the deck and view. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

I stayed a couple of months ago and had a really great break in a waterfront room, going to sleep to the sound of the sea. Nice big room with handy kitchenette, great food options nearby and an amazing view. Would recommend.

Have made this my regular spot to stay when travelling for work. Great sized rooms, great shower pressure, great location, quiet heat pump and room service breakfast available. Everything you need!

For a price of around $380 for one night, the room size was really nice and generous, however the place just felt dark and gloomy and overall a depressing place to be in. It's a old-styled room which is not our preference but could be enjoyed by others who prefer this style. Our window view was horrible, let to a rooftop construction scaffolding so I do wish we had some compensation for that. Not the worst place in the world, just not our style. Would recommend for people who do prefer a dark atmosphere.
