Hallenstein Brothers Palms Shopping Centre

Did some bargain shopping at Hallensteins, as there were some discounts and good deals this week. The shop was full of options, easy to get around the displays, and the salesperson was very friendly and helpful.

Called in to get quotes for new clothes on Tuesday 9th Jan 2019 and was met by a young lady Elle McKenzie behind the counter.Right from the get go she was so charming and helpful and even showed me items I may like after I told her what I was looking for.Her customer service manner was awesome she made me feel so at ease because I wasn’t sure about colour scheme the style etc...After I said that I will call back the next day to collect and pay for them she was so helpful and said I will put these away for you. She took my contact details and said , look forward to seeing you tomorrow..She left such a profound impression on me that I couldn’t wait to pick up my items the next day just to see her smiling face and helpful manner...I have been in the retail and sales industry for over 25 years and have won awards for customer service.My point is when asked why do I put so much effort into being helpful to people on a daily basis, my answer is and has always been the same.When customers come into our business and spend their hard earned money, that money helps to put food on my family’s table so to me I am so grateful and they deserve to be treated like VIPs.Elle McKenzie treated me like that and to her I am sincerely thankful I met someone who treats customers like I do...Thank you again Elle for all your help.Tu Tawhiao

Was in the palms store today 5-4-23 about 2pm, the young man who helped us was fantastic, super helpful with a great manner, unfortunately I didn't catch his name but he was the only young male assistant in the shop...well done mate hope the good feedback gets to you and your managers etc

Came into buy some pants today but i guess the staff members social media life was more important. Waited at the counter and not an acknowledgement from her as she typed away. Dissappointing as the centre was quiet and looks like it needed the business.Oh well next time maybe

Good service from female staff member. Male staff memer a little impatient. No other business of this type to compare it to. So it gets a rating of good as waist sizes in their suit pants were not correct, so everything took multiple attempt of trying on stuff. Quality is just okay. Few freyed threads on suit jacket I bought, but hey you are not paying top dollar to be fair.

Super helpful staff member made my shopping trip a breeze, will definitely be back again.

Had the most amazing lady called Connie" helping me find and purchase a perfect formal suit for my son @ Hallensteins in Northlands Mall.Connie went above and beyond her normal duties to help us.So impressed and have recommended my friend's to get their formals here via Connie.....give Connie a raise

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good ethical fashion guide rating too. Great range of colours which is a change for menswear. Clothing is durable and we'll priced. Definitely recommend this store!

I stopped in Today 20th dec, the young lady who was working was quite rude and not only towards myself but my sister and also noticed she was to other customers. And i think its un acceptable and she should be spoken to about the way she talks to customers and response to a question.On the other hand i would've given 5 stars for the male worker who was kind, lovely and help us out as much as he could while the young lady was standing behind the counter and he was running around sorting things out for all the customers that dude deserves props and maybe even a raise watching him cater to customers needs and being the only one doing it... Wish i got his name to give him the props he deserves!Please sort out your customer service.Or I rather go else where

Visited the store this afternoon. Walked into the store, the two staff members didn't even acknowledge us. Found what we needed after going to the changing rooms twice, still no service with no one coming to check on us. Only once we got to the counter to pay did we get any sort of service. I suggest some training could be helpful for your staff members. Time of purchase was 1.45pm 9 Oct.
