This place is our stop every time we travel. This time we had a very unhappy coffee lady (Dasha) I asked if my rewards was loaded and was told why didn't I asked first. Literally talking in a loud voice as if I was 5 meters away from her.I had to say that am right here don't have to shout at me. We felt unwelcome. Very poor customers service.Hopefully she get trained how to deal with customers.

By far the best example of everything customer service should NOT be. The staff were rude, condescending, arrogant…the list is endless. And not just to myself either. My husband had to go in and was treated the same way. He also observed the staff treat another customer equally as bad. Big huge shoutout to Liana, you deserve the award for worst customer service. Apologies to the other staff member, I didn’t catch your name, but the condescending look as I entered said it all.

The only no gas station opened 24/7 between New Plymouth and Hamilton. Clean and well stocked with all essentials for a road trip. Conveniently located on the highway. They’ve enough chairs to stretch with a coffee during your long night drives.

We stop here for coffee every time we pass through to Ohakune and back. That was until recently. The last coffee we had from here was burnt and the kids hot chocolate was served cold. When asked if they could both be made again, we were just told to wait for the coffee to cool down and the hot chocolate was made again but with coconut milk instead of full cream. We eventually got the coffee made again but it was pretty much a single shot in a triple shot cup so was like watered down coffee. The barista admitted she hadn’t been trained to make coffee. Now we turn around and walk back out if we see the same person making the coffee that didn’t know how. Please get your team trained, we really would like to come back for some nice coffee! You’re the only place open at 7pm when we are passing through!

The tall Māori cashier (don’t know her name) loves rolling her eyes to the hell if you let her repeat the question second time

The toilets here are disgusting, one was taped off and the other looked like it hadn't been cleaned for some time. Very poor won't be stopping here again.

Excellent service station that not only offers a cheapest petrol but also has great café with seating arrangement, toilets and car wash.
