A reasonable pub in the middle of town. A good range of drinks, including beers, wines and spirits. They also provide some food, that is reasonably priced. The staff are helpful and friendly. Worth a try.

$16 each for two fantastic lunches, bargain. Both perfectly cooked. Super friendly bar tender who loves Dunedin and was happy to chat. Great location to sit, chat and people watch.

While visiting Dunedin, we called into the Dunedin Social Club for a drink. It has great atmosphere and we enjoyed our visit. Service was quick and friendly. We would be happy to return again when next visiting Dunedin.

Had to go up 3 times to bar to ask where my ordered dish was. Got there in the end. Pool table needs fixing (and a white ball), but playing pool was no charge so there you go.Visited evening of 7/07/23.

Very rude door staff. I was alone as a woman and didn't realize that there was a security because nobody was at the door. after taking two steps inside (after waiting) I was rudely dragged to the door and verbally abused. Super strange situation…. (12.05.).

Great pub with awesome vibes. Fun place to grab a drink and catch up with friends. Their mulled wine is yummo. Service by the bar staff and Manager was absolutely faultless. You are made to feel soooo welcome. We had the rump steak meal which was ok, I guess you expect that with a $16 rump steak meal however the truffle mash potatoes were divine.
