After a lengthy phone call to a staff member here I found out my trip to tauranga was a waste of time as they couldn't do a certification for my vehicle, which they told me over the phone they could. Very disappointing

Donald was extremely helpful in getting an old car back on the road for me. We had a few conversations prior so I knew what was required of me and the process and I am very happy with him and his service. Vehicle compliance is a tricky business where guys like him are portrayed as the bad guy stopping someone’s car being on the road, but the reality is he is responsible for ensuring cars that go through his shop are safe to be legal to used. Have the conversations, do what is asked, deliver the car ready for inspection and it is a painless process. I’m very happy with the service I received here!
