Wairenga/Bridal Veil Falls Car Park
The carpark is fairly large and it was fairly well sign posted so it wasn't too hard to get to. It did fill up later i nthe day when we were leaving.

Even though it was a short walk to the waterfall, walking through the forest was quite enchanting in way. There is a picnic spot at the entrance where the toilets, which is a long drop, no hand wash so you will need sanitiser to bring with you. The view of the waterfall was amazing and walk down to the bottom of the base which is 10mins was even better. We did the stairs twice up and down which was a good workout before our swim. Unfortunately you can't swim at this waterfall, so lucky there's nearby beaches to go to for a quick swim.

It’s about 8 minutes to the top of the falls from the car park, two other lookout points before hitting the bottom. Another 10min down the stairs to the bottom. I recommend going down first, then slowly make your way back up on the stairs to the other lookout points as a breather. Tracks are well paved and maintained. Enjoy your day. ( Wear a good shoe )

Beautiful walk to the waterfall. Stairs- were easy going down but if you're not fit enough then it might be a challenge. But it's worth it.

Fantastic views and easy to access the top of the waterfall and viewing area. The bottom viewing area is 10 or so minutes of stairs so not suitable for wheelchairs, prams etc but has a great spot at the bottom sitting over the river looking back at the fall.

Beautiful!!You have to be ready for 261 steps if you wanna go down, if you take your time, that's pretty ok (best view is from the bottom!)

A short walk off the highway brings you to the initial viewing platform for the falls. However, it's well worth tackling the steps down to the bottom of the waterfall where the view is so much better. Great for photos. If you're brave or foolish, you could also swim! Leave some energy for the trek back to the car park. There are lots of steps!

Beautiful walk in reserve with the majestic falls. Only a 10 minute road from the car. There is a sign to lock car and not leave valuables.

I took a detour to Raglan and on the way back saw the sign for the Bridal Veil Falls. So, so good. Worth the trip to the bottom but know you have to come all the way back up.
