A clean and tidy Mom and Pop’s restaurant, certainly one of the best chinese takeaways that we’ve tried. The quality of food is above your usual takeaways, in fact the deep fried wontons are the most delicious and crispy that we had anywhere in NZ. We had the Pork Belly noodle soup with generous amount of fresh bakchoy, cooked just right. And the thin noodle and pork belly are as tasty as ramen. My wife’s mapo tofu was equally delicious. We want to go back but they’re closed on weekends.

This is the best Chinese takeaway I’ve had in Wellington. Fresh veggies, superb flavors, eco friendly packaging, good prices, lovely friendly service. Lots of vegan choices. Our new favorite! Can’t wait to return.

Good food. Quite affordable. We ordered Singapore fried noodles, prawn wonton and chicken dumplings. Everything was yummy. Highly recommend if you in Newtown.

Love Chan's! Such warm and courteous service (kid-friendly too), delicious food and the homemade chilli oil and roti are out-of-this-world good. A favourite, highly recommended.

Good service, well priced, nasi goreng was tasty. My partner got the wonton noodle soup which was a little heavy on the sesame flavour.
