Certificate Of Fitness: I alerted UCS to a brake light issue when booking in for a COF and requested they fix it. I reminded them again when dropping the vehicle off a few days later. Upon picking up the vehicle, they had not fixed the lights (resulting in a failed COF), the boss there mentioned it was NOT a fuse issue and recommended that I take it to a specialist auto electrician. When I did so, it turns out it WAS a simple blown fuse. The electrics technician cost me $135 when it should have cost me $2 to replace these simple parts. I then had to wait another week for the COF re-check (UCS only do Mondays). UCS were not willing to make amends at all and even charged me a further $50 for the re-check fee. Never going back.

They charged me $161 for replacement wiper blades specific to my car. The same wiper blades are available for $59 online. I also put the wipers on myself, so it’s not like I was charged labour. I also paid $340 for an oil change. I made the mistake of going here as I own a Fiat. They have literally charged me $500 for an oil change and new wiper blades. A standard garage would charge about $200-$250 for this. The guy over the phone was also rude. Honestly, go elsewhere and save your money.

For people with such amazing knowledge... yet you share this knowledge, and do not expect anything in return. I cannot think of a more honest business than this.You guys are amazing and I look forward to kitting out my Jeep.

Great Garage, friendly helpful staff who go the extra mile to help out. Very professional with good communications. Pricing is very good so far with the job I have had done (fixing ABS issue on a Jeep) and the next job its booked in for. Would recommend to anybody and will be my garage of choice in Whangarei from now on. wish you could give more than5 stars :)

Absolutely avoid these ppl. They are very abrupt and overpriced.

I wouldn't even give this business 1 star but I had to to be able to write anything. The owner has no concept of customer service, no accountability for poor service, and his treatment of me was unacceptable. I was fobbed off and underestimated. I will NEVER consult with these people again and I advise you to not also, especially if you're a woman.

Anything 4WD they can do fast and friendly service
