Just back after 3 days (2 nights) sailing with the wonderful team of captain John and Guy (sorry about the spelling).We really had the most outstanding time sailing in such an amazing location/s. We were looked after, well fed ( outstanding fresh food) educated and entertained for the duration of out trip.Trying to choose a favourite highlight from day to day is impossible as there were just so many.. The sailing... The walks.. The views.. The snorkeling.. The wildlife to name but a few.This was the one thing we were really really excited about for our trip up North and it went beyond our expectations of quality and fun. Absolutely fantastic three day two night sailing cruise. The surroundings were phenomenal and John and his crew were professionals, good company and excellent cooks. You really notice that John is very involved with the local flora and fauna (as a biologist he studies false killer whales). Upon request he likes to share his knowledge which for us added to the trip. Thanks John!!

We had a amazing Time sailing with ecocruz. We did snorkling, kayaking, hiking and so many other things. It was our best experience on New zealand. Oh and The food was realy good

We had the best time out with John and Griffin on the Manawanui! The 3 day/2 night sailing cruise was undoubtedly the highlight of our time in New Zealand. It was really special to see the region’s marine life up close and learn so much about these beautiful animals. The food was amazing, especially including the fresh fish that we were able to catch along the way. The overnight stays allowed beautiful sunset dinners on the deck, as well as some prime stargazing. Can’t recommend it enough! Thanks a billion guys.

We loved our 3 day sailing trip on the Manawanui. It was the highlight of our trip to New Zealand. The boat, scenery, activities and food were all amazing. John and his crew are absolute gems and you’ll learn so much about the marine life and culture of New Zealand from them. If you are traveling to the Bay of Islands, I strongly recommend booking a trip with John.-Stacy and Garth, Canada

This was the most relaxing and fun family holiday we have had for a long time - we are planning to return soon. John is not only a great yachtsman, but a great chef and guide too. The Manawanui was a perfect size yacht, spacious both inside and out. The activities were great - hiking, kayaking, snorkelling, fishing or sitting around with a G&T - Kids had a blast and so did we!

I couldn't put to words how amazing our time with John and Geyer was. (sorry for the poor spelling)There true passion for the ocean and knowledge of the surround Bay of islands makes the trip one to remember. We where a very large group and they managed to cater to all our needs and provide an emersive experience. The food was amazing incredible we where very well fed ☺️

Hello people, take your money and treat yourself to a three-day eco-sailing trip with John and his crew! This investment really worth it !!You can expect a very experienced and empathic captain, who by the way is still an excellent chef !!! (in addition he is a marine biologist and can answer all your questions, for example about dolphins and whales in german and english!)You sail with a small group (max 10 persons). An interesting, informal exchange and shared experience is guaranteed in all activities: for example: kayaking; Snorkeling in the reef; various hikes; Observation of dolphins)

Such a great few days in the Bay - the scenery wow, the menu yum, the company fun and lots and lots of sun. Memories of dolphins, snorkeling, Sushi/Sashimi, Boat jumps and crystal clear waters will be treasured.
