I've bought a couple of things from Laptop Battery over the last few years, and the price and quality have been the best I've found in NZ.I had a problem with my computer recently, and had the most amazing customer service from Shane, going out his way to help me get the issue sorted, even though I was in another part of the country. Actually, this was one of the best customer service experiences I've had, and I will definitely being buying from Laptop Battery again :)

Bought a premium laptop from them. Waited 10 days before I called and they said they were waiting for me to approve of the shipping, uhh, if I bought a laptop and sent payment you should send me the item right? Apparently not. Of course I received it later on and there is a small hole right through the base of it. The pictures were taken strategically to hide this damage. I did eventually manage to get a one day shipping label out of them so they could get the thing back and refund me. Huge waste of time, ended up just taking the two week shipping time on the same thing but with better specs and lower cost from eBay...

Bought a laptop battery on special that it was faulty on arrival. When prompted about warranty they told me that I had to send it back to Christchurch at my own expense, that was even more expensive that the battery itself. I explained the situation and their only response was that it was my responsibility and even if they find that the battery was covered under warranty I would not get a refund for the courier. You are better off spending a little bit more of money and dealing with original parts and authorized suppliers.

In past 2 years, I have purchased laptop batteries, screens, power adapters, a refurbished laptops too. Never had any issue with these guys. Most of the time, I find their products cheaper and locally available for pickup rather than the other shops in Christchurch. Haters gonna hate. Trade and experience by yourself.

I own a small computer consultancy and repair business in New Plymouth. I have been buying batteries off Laptop Battery NZ Ltd for a few years now and their service has always been good, but since Shane has taken over, it has become great! Recently I ordered a battery at 5.30 pm on a Tuesday and it was at my door at 8.30 am, the next day! Now that's service!
