AA Centre - Lower Hutt

Popped in to replace a lost license. Fiona helpfully intercepted me beforehand and said a renewal might be better for me, they helped me with the form and then hoped on a desk to process my application. Awesome stuff. Also had someone else pop by to offer to help me too. Really good friendly vibe in here!

Drivers licensing, vehicle registration and de registration , insurances etc. Visited 5 times to get my partners overseas drivers license converted,lovely folks and the best agent is Lo.

Went there this morning and had to wait 45 minutes. There were 6 people in the queue and 1 trainee at the desk and another woman who decided to take a coffee break for 20 mins. It was 9:30am and this place opens at 8:30am. I would have thought that if it's busy and there is only 2 people at the desks and one is a trainee that you would get people through and then take a break? Or, have more people on? Especially when it's only 9:30am and she would have only been there for an hour tops. The woman at the door was also very talkative and noisy. Anne (the trainee) was very friendly and helpful though.

This is more of a heads up to others. When you arrive and there's a queue, it takes about 10-15 mins for the people at the desks to handle each person.I went at 11 am and back before 3 to renew my license and queue for 45 mins the first time, and 55 mins the second time.It would be good to have someone let you know that it's likely to be a 30min wait if there are 3 people in front of you in the queue.As they're not open on the weekend, it is tricky for full-time working people to get things sorted in a lunchbreak.Great service once at the counter.

Finished work early so I could make it in on time to apply for something which I couldn’t achieve online. Arrived at 16:45 to have the door locked in front of me. Lousy customer service.Edit: Managed to get in to embellish an endorsement on my drivers licence. They weren’t able to fulfil my request, although they did manage to delete two other endorsements off my license and took two hours to undo their misdoings. Because it had taken so long I managed to rake up a $65 parking fine as in the words of the teller, I “wasn’t able to leave the AA centre until the the issue was resolved”.Terrible service.

Poor customer service. Staff keep chatting with each othe. one staff on desk and rest of the desk not attending signs on. Customer long queues everytime. Not a worthy branch.

Dont don’t don’t go to the lady name Vanessa working over here if you wanna get your work done . I went to her to apply IRD number so she asked me the unnecessary documents which she do not even using it . Any how I told her I can email her the documents and she can print it out but she told they don’t do this over the email but just a 2 minutes ago the other girl working there has print out the forms for me . So when I told her that your teammate has just did it for me two minutes ago she replied she do not have the access to the new technology but the new comers working there has . So she sent me back and told me to print it out from warehouse stationary and I came back after 20 minutes but this time I went to other girl working there and she didn’t asked me any new documents which Vanessa was asking me . She just told what you have is enough to proceed further . As a result I ended up wasting my money on taking the unwanted print out which was asked by Vanessa . To end up I just want to save the time for you guys when you go next here . Don’t deal with Vanessa other wise you waiting in a line for 30 minutes and when you go the counter you will be replied oh I don’t have the access to few technologies so what’s the point of sitting there when you can not help your customers. She could have asked her other teammate to help but she didn’t . This is not the first time I have deal with her . Been to this place few times but whenever she is dealing I know my work not gonna get done today . But a big thanks to Maggie and Lo they are very helpful and always have a welcoming smile on their face 5⭐️ to these gems .

18.05.2023 Verify documents for an IRD number.I was standing in line at 3.55pm with at least 8 people in front of me and was advised by an AA rep they've reached capacity today and won't be able to process me".Reached capacity? Get additional staff to stay longer so you can actually process customers enquiries esp at this time of the day.Won't be able to process me? Yet

I went to AA to book an appointment for my sons learners test. When i arrived there with him, I got told by a lady that the line was to long and they will not be able to serve me. I asked the lady if i could book a learners test but she said she cannot. To stop thos hassle, I would reccomend having a phone number which you should be able to book slots
