I had the ribs, flavour was wonderful. However the meat didn't come off the bone easily. Half hour longer in the oven would have done it.

Wonderful food, good service and typical rural pub/hotel atmosphere. They accommodated our group of twelve and we all agreed that our meals were very, very nice which included cajun chicken salad, fish and chips, pork, beef and chicken schnitzel and the ubiquitous stockyard burger!! Yum, yum. The prices for the meals were spot on.

On behalf of the Manawatu MX5 Club we had a fantastic place to have a group dinner. Very helpful staff went out of there way to make a great dinner night. Food and beverages were fantastic.A huge thank and we will be back.

Ribs flavour was lovely, unfortunately ribs presented individually which always sets off alarm bells. The ribs were trimmed so severally there was no meat left on the ribs. No doubt the chef used my lunch to make another dish. It wasn't a lunch special meal either as was full price $20. Lovely flavour just left feeling hungry.
