NZ Post Shop Ferrymead

Saw older lady behind the counter being quite rude and abrupt to a nice young girl who politely asked a perfectly reasonable question about where to find something.

Terrible service, the lady serving me was impatient and rude and really did not want me to send my parcel. Why is it so hard to send a parcel here, yet so easy at other post shops.

Worst experience at this post shop today. The lady serving told me I had to fill out my customs form 3 TIMES for the most stupid reasons (others in front of me were also repeat filling forms). No wonder there was such a queue.Also she was telling customer in front how rude a previous customer had been (I can certainly understand his frustrations). This is sooooooo unprofessional.I'll never post parcels here again.

Very bad service. so disappointed one lady . She kind of ignore my questions.一人インド人らしき女性に差別的な感じでめちゃくちゃ態度悪くて久しぶりにニュージーランドでキレそうになりました。無視されるし、終わったか終わってないかも分からんくてひどい扱い。そんな人いるんだ。。

On the 7th of December at around 3:44pm I went to the Ferrymead Postshop Christchurch to get a quote to send an item to Tauranga I had sold on Trade Me. Nic served me and after measuring and weighing the item quoted $17 which I was happy with I even wrote $17 on my parcel in pen. After I received payment from my purchaser for the item and freight, I returned the next day around the same time. Nic again stated $17 for regular post but when I got home, I noticed I had been charged the courier rate of $31.20 I returned to the Postshop on Friday morning the 9th of December and spoke to Nick about being charged the courier rate 0f $31.20 instead of the standard delivery rate of $17. Nik stated that he could do nothing about it as he no longer had the label and the parcel was already gone. I responded that its not my problem that I had been charged the wrong rate. Nic then stated that I had agreed to pay the amount when I used my credit card and that I would have seen it. I stated that I just paid it and then realised later that I was not wearing my prescription glasses so would not have seen it. At that point Keri who I think is the Manager interrupted in an angry tone “I will pay the $14 dollars if it bloody well shuts up, you’re moaning”. I then replied to Keri if that’s an appropriate why to speak to a customer? and left with the “Sending with NZ Post’ Pamphlet about getting a refund from Nic.
