Very disappointing when you really love subs. Did arrive at 4 pm and they didn't have sub/bread anymore. They didn't even help me to check if the next subway in Greymouth is open (it should" they said) And it turned out that it was not open (although google said its open.)"

Worst subway experience and ruined our visit to hokitika. Staff are incredibly rude and make it very obvious they don’t want to work.would rate this 0 stars if I could. Avoid at all costs

We stopped for lunch at subway while we were going to franz joseph. We were in search for some vegetarian food and subway at hokitika came to our rescue. Service at subway was slow which was disappointment as there was only one lady who was making sandwich and doing billing . But the subway which was made with pure love was delicious, staff was polite and well behaved.Ample free parking was available outside this store.

Absolutely great experience both with the food and the staff. One of the staff members was very helpful, nice and at the same time funny. She literally made everyone in the queue smile.

The lady who was preparing our subs was super funny and friendly… didn’t mind waiting in the queue while hearing her funny comments! She made me laugh the whole time I was in that shop! The world needs more people like her :-)

Went to grab subway for tea tonight. Awesome experience, wonderful ladies made the experience so fun, laughed lots and the food was bloody brilliant. Really wonderful to see such happy staff who are so customer focused.

We have been to subway hokitika multiple times this year. Only once has it actually been open. Either shut the place down or figure it out and get some staff. It really is quite incredible a business can run this way
