Small function venue which can accommodate 50 max and not more. Great views but but outdated place.

Lovely, scenic & windy view of Auckland port, Skycity on left & right mission bay. Enjoy Calm waves & sound as you sit inside car or outside by embankment & soak in the view. Carefully Walk down layered rocks & freshly eaten oysters by birds near sea line. Leisurely walk to mission bay for a short stretch of beach & food across the beach

This venue has to have the best view of the Auckland harbour out to Rangitoto Island. Whether it’s a stormy day or sunny day there is a lot of activity to watch. People fishing, sailing, boating and cruise ships going by early evening. Five Knots has good air conditioning, bar and toilets. It is a nice private elevated modern premise with lots of big round tables and wrap around windows. Easily fitted our 40 plus people. We had finger food it was simple and tasty. On the Auckland waterfront Tamaki Drive with lots of free parking.

I used Five Knots for a work function and it was great. Our requirements were, close to the city, affordable, accessible, parking, great food, good customer service, and a venue with a bit of x factor - and Five Knots ticked all these boxes for us! We will be back again next year.

Thanks Mary-Anne and her team for a wonderful Christmas party! Extremely good value for money compared to other CBD venues. A few of our staff were very impressed with the selection of drinks available (some nice Mumm champagne) and the food was really good. Everything was very easy to arrange. Would highly recommend.

I started planning my daughters 21st about a year out. Have communicated and met with both Jason and Mary-Anne from the beginning, throughout and to the end of the process and everything has been hassle free. The night was great and enjoyed by all, the food was amazing!!! Everyone enjoyed it!

It was an official event and our guests were simply mesmerized by the surrounding views and the feeling of nostalgia. Guests thoroughly enjoyed the splendid array of food with great selection of wine, beer and alcohol-free beverages. With the cosy atmosphere, some of our guests stayed on...catching up...memorable evening. Shout out to the event's team...Mary-Anne, Jason, Eshwar, the Chef, the bartender (sorry, didn't get your name that evening)...your support, patience. Thank you very much!

Thank you to the team at Five Knots for making our night an enjoyable and an unforgettable experience. Having being roped into organizing our work Christmas Party, I knew the team deserved a night out to relax and unwind. Five Knots was the perfect hosts, with excellent communication from Mary-Anne, the events co-ordinator. Having her help map out all the finer details made organizing a breeze. The venue is stunning, despite the gloomy weather, the food was wonderful and even the bar well stocked. Truly am grateful for the team and for helping making our first ever Christmas Party a success. Highly recommend and will now be one of my go to venues for special occasions. Cheers.

Attended for brunch. Really tasty mini quiches, sandwiches. Enjoyed the delicious mini camembert croissants & beautiful pastries with 180 degree sea view. Good vegetarian selection.
