Pete is a great. Fun to walk up to trailer and banter for a bit at Petes international headquarters. We had never had a whitebait pattie before and very happy we tried it. Baby fish fried as a pattie served on toast with some salt and lemon and he magic secret sauce. Delicious if nearby you should try

Pete is a legend! We arrived the camp site hungry and looking for Pete, but he had already closed up shop for the night. The legend that he is, heard we were looking for food so he opened back up just to cook us the most delicious white bait and zucchini and corn fritters! He even gave us some free coconut cream ice cream for dessert. The food was amazing but the service and chat was pure gold. Thanks Pete!

Great little shack to find on a campsite! The whitebait pattie is truly delicious. Simple but made with joy and care. Was a nice surprise too as he seemed to have closed for the night but he opened back up after hearing I was after a pattie. Hero!
