Staff were really helpful. The area is huge and spacious. We stayed in one of the bigger rooms and were extremely happy with it. Good value for money as well. 5 small playgrounds for the children and a short walk to the beach.

This campground used to be Okay, but they now take on many homeless clients, who sit around drink all day anoy guests, and make a mess in the kitchen. I complained about some particularly nasty clients and left the area, only to get blacklisted from the campground

Tahuna Beach Holiday Park & Motel
This park is quiet, despite being under the airports flight path, has plentiful amenities that are well appointed and clean.The kitchen area is spacious and has a large screen TV with access to a multitude of channels.Office staff are friendly and the on site cafe is wonderful - fish and chips were delicious, well priced and the convenience of being able to get something within the park is something we haven’t experienced anywhere else.Our only criticism is the very small internet allowance per day.Overall, highly recommended.

Great site! We loved our first night here and in Nelson so much we walked into reception the next morning to book our site for a 2nd night. We stayed on the green loop - showers were warm with great water pressure, kitchens were a fabulous bonus, and the views/beach can’t be beat. The semi-permanent residents we were parked near were all very friendly as well!Easy walk into town to visit some pubs as well.

Perfect spot for a family getaway, we didn't want to leave. We had a motel unit which looked over a playground and mini golf so perfect for the kids to play and parent to chill while still looking over the kids. So much to do within the holiday park and walking distance. Staff were friendly and always willing to help. Love this place so much. Thank you for giving my family the best memories.

There was a giant bright light flooding my room the entire night which was horid, it was noisy with vehicles driving to there rooms and planes flying til 9pm and from 6am all day....No sleep, far too disrupted by a runwayIt's very close to the beach which is awesome but not for a light sleeper that's for sure

Great place to camp, we had an unpowered site right on the waterfront. There’s plenty of gates leading to the water, ideal for a morning stroll on the beach.Camp kitchen and toilet block were very clean and the showers had plenty of pressure and hot water.The camp sites were very level and the ground is soft enough to get pegs in without issue.

The best large campsite in the country. The staff are extra pleasant and helpful. The camp areas are very well maintained and it feels more like a community than a bunch of strangers camping out. Mostly very friendly and great international mixes

There were 6 kitchens to accommodate over 900 sites - the one I used had 2 fridges which was clearly not enough. The showers and toilets were great but I would be annoyed if I paid for the services of a holiday park and couldn’t store my food properly. The ground on my tent site (beach front) was so hard that every tent peg bent, and some couldn’t be fully banged into the ground - it was simply too hard

We stayed in a basic cabin, it was clean and well presented. The facilities in the area were tidy with more than enough equipment for our stay to be comfortable.We had family tenting at the other end with fantastic opportunity to walk straight out to the beach.
