Just finished the 10 day South Snow Adventure and what an experience! From bungee jumping in Queenstown to carving our own pounamu pendant, there really is something for everyone! A huge shoutout to Esther & Ryan for being our trip leaders, Their passion and genuine love for NZ made this tour a trip of a lifetime!

I did the 20 days tour covering both north and South Island and I loved it so much! I wish I did the 28 days tour! Hannah and Ben were really good tour guides, professional, knowledgeable and caring. I’ve seen so much of New Zealand in only 20 days and met so many amazing people. The experience of a lifetime! I highly recommend this company, small group, great itinerary, friendly tour guides… everything was perfect!

Best travel agency I've ever been travelling with!I've travelled Australia with an agency and liked that experience too. But it is by far not comparable to backyard roadies. Feels like travelling with friends as even your guide become like a family as they're all super kind, trustworthy and helpful.I really enjoyed the trip! Such an amazing experience especially with Ryan and Hannah as our tour guides. They know a lot about New Zealand and sorted out everything in our favour. Perfect! Can highly recommend booking a tour with them! You will definitely not regret this trip!!

I just finished the 28 days tour, we unfortunatly were not able to do the first four days of the tour due to the flooding happening in Auckland but the BYR team helped me book acomodation in the city and gave me a refound for that part pf the trip. Once the tour started I was able to meet so many amazing people and visit this beautiful country.A special shoutout to Hannah and Ben for being such amazing tour guides.If you're looking for an organized tour to visit NZ look no further, I would do it all over again.

Couldn't recommend enough! The 10 day south snow adventure tour was incredible!!!! If you're undecided like I was before booking a trip with backyard roadies you 10000% should do it!! The relationships you create within the group and the memories you make are forever. The tour guides want you to have the best experience and make sure you are comfortable and well informed, the activities are such a blast, the banter and laughs are endless- its the ultimate Kiwi road trip experience!

I honestly don't even know where to start! I have just come off the South Snow 10 Day Tour with Backyard Roadies and can genuinely say it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life! I've grown up in New Zealand but have never really had the chance to explore my own backyard, which was one of the main reasons I wanted to do this trip. I joined as a solo traveler and have come out with lifelong friends, not only the other travelers but the guides too. Esther and Ryan (and Hannah and Ben) are incredible at what they do and I want to say a massive thank you to them! Jase you and your team have created this tour so perfectly and I'm so thankful I got to have this experience.

This was truely a life changing experience. We did so many crazy adventurous activities like sky diving! And got to do the Tongariro Alpine Crossing! I only did the 10 Day North Island Tour but WISHED I picked a longer one! I’ll have to come back again!! Hannah, our guide was especially amazing!! Big shouts
