Free popcorn for everyone (You can ask for extra and they usually don't mind), friendly staff, great music. Great vibes to have a dance to with friends.

Came for the 5 dollar shots, stayed for the dance floor.Love this place, good vibes, cheap pints on tap, free gaming consoles and arcade machines, friendly bartenders, song requests and a table to dance on.Will definitely come again next time I'm in welly.

Highly Recommend Circus Bar!On the week of New Years 2019 my ex girlfriend and I took a holiday to Wellington (From Auckland) and when randomly walking around after a lovely new years dinner we cam across Circus Bar. We were surprised by the fact that bars in Wellington don't seem to have a door charge (most bars in Auckland do) which was really nice especially for New years eve. We were only going to stay for an hour then go watch the fireworks at midnight but we had so much fun at Circus bar that we ended up staying way past midnight. The staff gave us free popcorn and free party poppers and props to use at midnight and they even let us dance on the table. Thank you for a great night out. Its a place I still recommend to people in Auckland heading to Wellington almost 2 years later.Thank you Circus Bar!

Cool atmosphere really love the deco and bar staff are super friendly and nice but...The placing isnt the best unfortunatly its down the road from the rest of the clubs and bars.If you are on a night partying i would say go check it out but dont be surprised if its not really active. Drinking price is average, overall i really liked it

The free popcorn is a godsend for sobering up until it gets thrown across the dancefloor by some clown from the stage-esque area, music's usually pretty good although a little repetitive, sometimes it can get a little too packed though so if you're not a fan of cosplaying as a sardine then maybe stay away during busy hours

Went in there for a few drinks with friends. 'Chad' was awesome my mate left her bag and he literally ran down the street to give it back. Awesome customer service, lovely guy will be back. <3

Ethan was our bartender and he was so cool, there was no one else in there cause it was Wednesday night but Ethan was an absolute g and so friendly, really enjoyed it but he did not come and dance with us so that’s a bit sad. Thank you Ethan!
