I recently tried the Korean chicken at Keihei Chicken, and I am blown away by how amazing it tasted! From the first bite, I knew I was in for a treat.The chicken was perfectly cooked, with a crispy and crunchy exterior that was simply irresistible. The flavors were incredible - a perfect balance of sweet, savory, and a hint of spiciness. The Korean-style marinade infused the chicken with a delicious umami flavor that left me wanting more.The portion size was generous, and the presentation was visually appealing. The chicken remained juicy and tender on the inside while being delightfully crispy on the outside.As a Korean, I have tried many Korean chicken, but the one at Keihei Chicken stands out as one of the best I have ever had. I will definitely be returning for more!Overall, I highly recommend the Korean chicken at Keihei Chicken for anyone who craves a flavourful, crispy, and satisfying meal. It's truly a five-star dish that exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to come back for more of this culinary delight.

They would really benefit from having an online ordering system so you don't have to go down and wait 45mins for your order. Alternatively answering their phone to be able to place an order in the first place would be great. Ordered a regular double S chicken and Triple S chicken (as they were out of the market chicken) which were both delicious. Also highly recommend the caulifries which was a generous portion of brocolli and cauliflower deep fried with aioli so yum. Biggest disappointment however was the rainbow slaw, ordered a large and it wasn't even a cup worth (see photo). Overall more on the expensive side however will definitely be back again as the chicken was worth it!

Thank god there’s another good Korean fried takeaway in Upper Hutt. Absolutely amazing! Going back for a second serve again soon :)

I tried the Wings Lover meal pack tossed in triple S sauce. The wings were juicy and crispy and had a nice kick. Very friendly service.

Delicious. I think it's my new local burger place. The Korean fried chicken is deliciously moist and juicy with a really favoursome fried coating. The spicy chicken is bomb. It's a small takeaway store but queues were out the door when we came to pick up, and I now understand why! Highly recommended.

Super packed as they just opened but were very quick with my food. Very delicious chicken and quite cheap for the amount you get. Best chicken place in the Hutt I reckon. Would love to see them come up with a super spicy version

Follow up review.We are now regular customers. Highly likely this is the best chicken in Upper HuttFirst time here.We had the sweet, sticky, spicy, chicken and the bro & cauli fries. Both were extremely tasty. We also had fries, while perfectly acceptable were average when compared to the items we had ordered with them.They are large portions, so there are a couple of meals there for us. We will be back.It is busy but they turn around orders quickly.I rated the atmosphere at 3 because it is a takeaway, you can't give higher than a 3 for the takeaway atmosphere

Had the original chicken mania. Beautiful chicken and very filling. quick and kind service.Had the spicy burger, absolutely amazing! Huge cut of chicken and perfectly cooked!Tried the marked chicken, beautiful a bit sweet in a good way, very filling. It is getting quite busy which is great to see altho wait times are around 30 min but definitely worth the wait!
