Absolutely beautiful I loved being on the mountain and not having to search for accommodation nearby. 10/10 staff and skifield sad I didn't get to go on the 2nd tow not enough snow.

Was stuck up here for a weather bomb and had one of the best experiences ever with the friendly guides and management. Truly memorable and fantastic services. Skiing is a bit restrictive and no snowboards on site but definitely a good place if you are there to ski with the skiing club run field.

Excellent small field. Just a couple of nutcracker lifts, but really fun. Also, there are so few people that you can just keep going all day.. No crowds or queues. The staff are also very friendly and helpful

I would recommend renting gear off the mountain and bringing it up as they have some rental gear but not very much. If staying on the mountain I would recommend Tasc Lodge as their are many friendly people and a beautiful big window going onto the mountain of the ski feild as well as being able to ski from almost outside the door

Got asked to review this place from recent visit. TBH, i just went to the access road to watch the sun go down and take some pics. One of my favourite sunsets I have watched in this last 20 years in NZ!I have been to Tukino in winter too. Loved it. Small and family friendly. If you have 4wd (It's quite the drive!), and want snow fun, it is definitely worth considering.

Best terrain , recommend buying a cat pass. Staff are pretty laid back if you pay attention to the harsh environment that you're in.Be cool if they upgraded the lifts, the two nutcrackers are a bit dated and hard work. Definitely for the more adventurous spirited amongst us.

Great skiing and clubbie vibes. Don't come expecting a fancy resort, it's a club field and doesn't have all the bells and whistles (yet), but there is some quality skiing to be had crowd-free. Access road requires a 4WD or arrange a shuttle.

No cafe operating and only one long drop toilet. It's all about skiing with no frills attached. Also you need a four wheel drive to get up there and about a 35 minutes drive from the Desert road. Not crowded like the other two ski fields.
