Staff were extremely friendly however expensive for food and coffee. $16.20 for a ham, cheese and tomato croissant and a small coffee. Staff were busy so very long wait, would benefit from having another person.Coffee and food did taste delicious

Ordered a muffin, an iced mocha and a regular mocha. Not only was the muffin waaay over priced it was dry, tasted old and took way too long to be delivered to the table, despite it already being in the cabinet, no need to tamper with it. The iced mocha had little to no chocolate taste and half of it was ice. Same with the hot mocha, little to no chocolate taste. Not coming back, not a place to remember. Overpriced and barely any clean tables to sit at.

Just the pits, service was poor, the donut was so dry and inedible it was at least a week old the custard was no longer vanilla and the coffee you get a choice of three coffee beans which is 3 ways to burn and kill a bean - to worst coffee ever.

Hudsons (Queensgate Shopping Centre)
Recently, Lower Hutt held a sweet as hot chocolate competition. Hudsons was a participant in this competition, and I tried their apple Hot Chocolate. It was delicious, and the theatrics were great with a smoke bubble. I would definitely recommend Hudsons cafe even without the special edition hot chocolate as the staff were friendly and an overall nice experience

I have been here several times and every time I have been impressed. The drink selection is great. I love the frappes & hot chocolate. I had the smokey apple hot chocolate the other day, and it was delicious. The customer service is great & there is plenty of seating.
