They ran out of the pancake mix for my favourite thing, the vietnamese pancakes, Staff did a epic job, modifying dish with other ingredients. Was just as good, if not better! The girl who served me, Kate. great asset to the business she is

Very nice place with a nice large dining area and the toilets are always spotless.Nice coffee and the food is nice.Personally it would be nice to have the cafe open after 3pm. It's a popular place, and another hour open would be beneficial. Or is that just me?

Nice cafe with absolutely beautiful sweet treats - the perfect stop if you want something a little more elegant than the usual cafe fare! Be aware that they can be very busy, especially during the morning, so plan your visit accordingly.Their Savor the South" menu is available in April 2022 until 2pm each day. For $23

Gluten free scones. Really that’s all you need to know! But apart from that, great breakfast, decent coffee, and they source local when able. Major props to handling a busy cafe of tourists and locals alike

We went to the Batch on a very busy lunchtime but by the time we got to the front of the queue to order there were tables free. The staff were super friendly and the food good. My 6 year old was super happy with his pancakes. I would come here again.

This team is amazing! I’ve never had the chance to actually go to the cafe, but I can say that their menu is our friend’s delight in Invercargill and I am really looking forward to try it some day. Donna has been helping me since 2021 to deliver a gift card to a really good friend living there every year. She’s always been super attentive to detail, kind and lovely… I cannot thank enough!!!
