Visited on a Saturday morning in late April with my elderly (84 & 88 years) parents and had the place completely to ourselves.Lovely setting and the entire area was meticulously maintained.Loop walk was was interesting and very do'able for people of quite limited mobility and with seating for rest/viewing.Did the waterfall cascade walk by myself - straightforward well-maintained track (15 minutes return) through regenerating bush with a couple of short stepped sections.Overall, the gardens more than exceeded our expectations.

A stunning & heavenly attraction. Worth the windy drive. So many different types of flora to see. The caretaker was helpful & welcoming. Unbelievably well maintained grounds. We will never forget these gardens.

Stunning and serene environment, both indoors and out! We had the pleasure of a 3-night stay at The Lodge. The accommodation was beautiful with every comfort provided, including breakfast. Super comfy beds, couches and armchairs, well-appointed kitchens and large bathroom, pleasant surprises everywhere from the music station to the aromatherapy to the cats-eye Chinese solitaire table. The wrap-around balcony areas and multiple indoor seating areas were all delightful, surrounded by stunning artwork inside and nature's artwork outside. The watergardens themselves were simply beautiful and perfectly maintained, with a flock of friendly ducks to greet us! The walk up to the waterfalls is gorgeous and a very pretty fall at the top. One of the most peaceful and pleasant gardens we've visited. We even rearranged our plans so we could spend a full uninterrupted day at the Lodge and gardens. It truly is a place to 'be', not just to visit or sleep. Hosts Sarah and Sasha were charming and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you both for sharing your precious part of the world with us!

Our family spent 3 nights in this beautiful lodge, waking up to breathtaking views of the grounds every morning. The sprawling lodge is itself is an experience. Enjoyed exploring the surrounding water garden and the kids loved feeding the ducks. Our host, Sacha, was a real gem - answering our many questions patiently and giving us fab recommendations on what to visit and eat. A must stay if you are in the area - it is well worth scenic drive. Thank you for making us feel so at home Sacha!

Nice little getaway to take up part of the day.The walk up to the top is relatively easy with nice views along the way and a waterfall at the top.It is an honesty box donation system so take cash but if you dont there are instructions for transferring money via internet banking which you will have to do later once you're back in service.Would recommend it as a little break away and a nice walk
