The room was clean and tidyWe were going to cook some foodBut pots had cleaning stuff in it which it looked disgustingSo we went out for dinner insteadTowels were small and no extra towels to useNeed extra pillows in the room as there was only 1 to useAnd motel owner could be a bit more friendlier to stays

Stayed as part of a group.Owner is very rude and often used racist comments within earshot of guests. One more than one occasion expressed his dislike for various races including indian.asian and Maori guests.Rooms were nice but I wouldn't stay again

First time staying here. Lovely room. Spacious, clean, amenities were nice.Off street parking.Location was easy to find.Owners were friendly and helpful.

I requested a quite room for my autistic son. Were given a noisy room. On our first night fire alarm went on at midnight my son got frightened. Theirs a noises coming thru the roof kind off leaking. On our check in the host didn't show where the room is he just said the room number. When my husband went to the office no one come out to help him. We are so disappointed. For 2 nights we don't have a good sleep. My son got panic attacked because of the fire alarm and noises. Then the guests next room was smoking until 1-2am smoke come thru the gap on our door, another thing why we could'nt sleep. We really had a bad experienced on our stayed.

Beds rock hard..and on wheels with no headboard, so as soon as you sit up against wall, beds roll away..I got a sore back just sitting..Mold ingrained in plastic around showerNever stayed in a place with such shocking beds!!Host lovely, shame about comfort levels

Great price, simple and clean rooms, had everything we needed, excellent pressure in the shower, towels replaced daily, pleasant owners which also allowed for last minute changes with no problem. Bed slightly hard but would definitely recommend

Wow, the poor reviews must have had different owners to when I stayed at Bealey Avenue Motel for 5 nights 3 wks ago. It was wonderful in a ground floor unit, extremely clean and airy. A cleaner came every day with fresh towels and to clean and vacuum, though I told her not to bother as it was clean. It had every amenity anyone could wish for. There was also a little outdoor table and 2 chairs, made private by hedges on both sides, and the owners were lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. I will be booking 6 nights there again in Feb. I did have a few young guys in the room next door but it didn’t upset me hearing them laughing and talking as I enjoyed my stay so much. Tariff was $100 a night, the cheapest motel I could find nearest my brother’s tiny flat. I’m a pensioner on limited funds but my savings were well worth the awesome days I spent with my brother and the happy comfy restful nights in the motel.Leah Antunovich
