One of the most beautiful camp site, clean and spacious, with open kitchen, clean toilets and shower rooms. The staff in the general store are very nice. $2 coin shower for 7 min, there's no change machine if you arrive after their general store closed. The shower room that is far from the water heater could have problem with hot water when other showers closer to the heater are in use, so use the shower close to the water heater in middle. They can add a water heater to resolve this problem. But overall, it's a great camp site, can't beat the breathtaking view of Glenorchy.

Overall a nice camping - gave 5* chiefly because they stored our bicycles for a small fee whilst we did the Rees Dart Track. Also, Sue on reception was very lovely and helpful. The toilet block and kitchen are nice and clean. The campsite itself is ok - could benefit from more shade and space + picnic tables around the camping places (many campers like us cycle tourists don't have table and chairs). Thank you again for storing our bicycles.

It felt like a lot of money went into the campsite and that its well loved. Nice facilities and flower gardens, nice cafe associated with it. Service to talk to someone took forever because the person was very enthusiastic/ chatty.

Bit expensive for a non powered campsite. Showers aren't free, there are wifi vouchers in the kitchen. We only found this out by talking to another backpacker. Nobody on site, kitchen is okey. Only its a open barn. So when is rainy, cold or windy it's not a great place to cook or sit. We expected more for the price.

It would be quiet nice place, but the camp sites sit in rows by two in a line, and it is very noisy when having too many neighbours around. The kitchen had two gas stove tops, but only one was working, and it was very hard to fit in when the camp had full house. Toilets and shower (3 and 2 respectively for men and women) are in a separate block with several sinks outside as well. The shower was absolute disaster, it starts with cold water, slowly turns into hotter water if no one else is taking the shower at the same time. The flow is extremely weak anyways. First time I had a shower I was not so lucky and basically had cold water running all the time.

Lovely campground in Glenorchy with all what you need (close to hikes, kitchen, showers...). My rating is due to the value for money: at $46 on the shoulder season (late September for us) for an unpowered campervan site for 2 it's a fair amount considering you need to pay for the showers $2 for 7min) and there is no wifi. That's more than what we paid in some top level caravan parks around New Zealand (think Top 10 for instance). Still that's a good, clean place to stay. We didn't get the chance to meet anyone as the campground was unattended and all booking is online.

Sue at Mrs Woolly's was awesome, she provided us with great insights to the area. The campground was fantastic, make sure to go to the Mrs Woolly's store for all their homemade goodies and coffee! Glenorchy in general is a beautiful spot too.

We had the warmest welcome at this picture perfect, rustic camp despite having mucked up our online booking! It has a beautiful, relaxed feel and a small and intimate vibe. We loved the kitchen and outdoor BBQ area. The camp host is just fabulous!
