Very lovely customer service and nice food. Very good location with sea views and have a lot of car parks. More importantly is the cleanliness of the toilet which usually means their kitchen also very clean.

Incredible location and stunning views! This place has amazing rooms and Lisa and her team are devoted to creating the best experience with everything they do, we certainly thoroughly enjoyed the 4-day stay.Will certainly be back to Tokomaru Bay and Te Puka Tavern!

Awesome hosts, excellent steak, salad and chip meals provided here. Bar staff friendly and the pub has beautiful views over Tokomaru Bay. There's also plenty of parking for self contained 'responsible campers' in their car park. It's for sale, someone buy it!

Really enjoyed our stay at Te Puka for a family get together. Friendly service, great meal, comfy beds & lovely shower in smart accomodation units. Great views of beautiful bay, wonderful swimming beach, amazing scenic spot. Thanks Te Puka, happy to recommend you.

The staff were very friendly and the food was well presented and awesome. The only downside is the wait was almost 40 minutes and pricey for bar meals. A can of sprite was $5 or $6 for a 1.5 litre. Our meals came to $68.00

Great service and beautiful fresh food. Worth the 2.5 hour drive from home. Definitely recommend. Already planning to go back with the kids and stay in units once the weather warms up and enjoy another meal or 2.

Had not been back to the coast in a few years, Te Puka is certainly my go to spanning Tokomaru Bay to Ruatoria hands down the best kai and atmosphere around. We camped at Te Puia Springs hotel for the weekend but always destined to pop in here for a delicious meal, love the place it's my home neighborhood (Waipiro Bay) ... top location, top food, top service ... nga mihi
