Hikuwai Beach - Freedom Camping
It's a wonderful spot. Right by the beach. Toilets nearby. Quite a few people sleeping in their cars but no hassle. Amazing icecreams down the road at Tirohanga. There do seem to be a few people dealing drugs at the car park however it didn't present any trouble. Loved staying here a night or two

A spot you can meet up with a lot of people who enjoy life on the road or if you are into Fishing sand for the little folk to enjoy as well.

Great place to stay. Awesome beach with a stream that kids spent hours playing in. Safe beach to swim. Toilets close by and close to town for F&C and supplies
