Hamilton WOF Station

Zero stars from me if that was an option. Was told they were doing the ‘cheaper option’ but were really scamming me of $350 more than other places. Claimed to have sent a quote but didn’t get it. Wouldn’t trust them again, go elsewhere.

Had failed a WOF due to a number of things. Had those things fixed by professionals and proved with paper work the work being done etc only to go for a recheck waiting in line for about 30min only to be failed again. When asked how it can be even more fixed when a professional had fixed it, they couldn't give me a straight answer and told me I had to go back to the professional who fixed my car and tell him he did it wrong. I told them to ring the company who fixed my car to maybe explain, but they refused to do so. They then printed off a diagram of the NZTA" standard requirements

I don't recommend this place for WOF , very very slow and will fail the car for thing that can be fixed on spot like a tiny nail in my brand new tire !!! They didn't even offer having it fixed !!I wont come back again. Dont waste your time and money

Went in with my car today to get a WOF, all I wanted was a WOF. The staff (the technicians) were completely unprofessional, after leaving my car with them to inspect I waited in the waiting room for around 20 minutes before I hear my car being revved multiple times to nearly red line from across the workshop. All because my turbo wastegates make a rattling sound. This has NOTHING to do with the wof and it doesn't affect anything to do with my car being fit for the road so there was NO NEED to rev my car MULTIPLE (5)times to high RPM. As a result the ticking sound is now much louder on my car now that it has been thrashed. When the technician walked back into the waiting room I asked him were you wondering what that sound was?" To which he replied "No". Which confirms he was doing this for no reason

The receptionists are very nice and kind but the mechanics are questionable. Seems like a lot of people visit here weren’t so happy about their experience. I agree but at least rage at the mechanics, not the receptionists.

Excellent WOF station I've used for approximately 15 years for many cars. Are quick to spot problems and quick to do a recheck (most times within the same day) Excellent mechanics who do a thorough check on your vehicle. Cheers

I deeply regret visiting this place for my WOF without checking the previous reviews. If I could give them zero stars, I would. They failed my WOF and provided reasons that seemed fair, so I agreed and asked them to fix the issues. However, they were fully booked until the next week, despite sending me a price quote. Since I couldn't wait that long, I went to another place the very next day. The professional mechanic there fixed all the problems mentioned on the sheet they provided, and I waited for almost three hours to ensure everything was done properly.Later that afternoon, I returned for a recheck at the original place, only to be failed again. I was astonished and went to the reception to talk to the mechanic about the faults. However, the lady at the reception took over and prevented me from speaking with him. When I asked for details about the faulty items, she knew nothing in detail, which was incredibly disappointing. She simply said she couldn't go against the mechanics and asked me to return to them for another round of fixes.As a non-technical customer, it felt like a curse to be in this situation. I requested to speak to my mechanic over the phone, but they outright denied my request. I had to go back to my mechanic and explain everything once again. He double-checked everything and found no issues. I honestly don't understand what they are looking for.I strongly advise against visiting this place. It will only make your day worse. Just take a look at the comments here - not a single reply from them. It's evident that they don't care about their customers.

Closed early, at 4.45pm after failing WOF a second time, after the initial repairs had been done for lights. They weren’t brought up at the first fail, days earlier. We now have to go the whole weekend without a WOF because of them closing early and not being open through the weekend. Unimpressed with the new ownership!

If I could give a zero I would. Website advises closes 430 on Friday I arrived at 340 and was the only car there. Before I even got in the door I was advised they were closing in 20 minutes and don't have time. I advised I was there for recheck only and was told to come back Monday. I would never take my car there if I had the choice however would was done through my mechanic who uses this service". Do not reccomend"
