Well built for a smaller park. Download your map first before going - there is very little cell phone reception. Consider taking a PLB if you are on your own, it's quite remote.

Great trail options, bit of a climb to get in but good long runs down. Grade 3-4 trails I rode were fun

We had a brilliant day here. There's a great variety of tracks for all experience levels. The tracks are well labelled and well maintained. There is a shuttle service which when you buy in multiples is great value for money. There's also a maintenance van up the top car park. Excellent family day out.

Arapuke Forest Mountain Bike Park
Really well laid out trails and more being built. Great mix of trail difficulties. Something for the first timer to get a taste on and then plenty of intermediate to advanced trails to work up towards. Shuttle van is great. The hill is not super high so the shuttle loops quickly. Dirt is hard packed with a bit of clay mixed in. Bit greasy if it's wet, best to go a day or two after rain.

Nice place for various skill levels. There is a shuttle that works there however we just decided to bike up.

Steep climb up, but gotta earn it! Well made and maintained. Grass needs a scrub bar in places. Love riding rocks, reminds me of Makara in Wellington.

Great variety of trails and a mix of challenges. Well built and well maintained. Access to the park is via long metalled mostly single lane roads, and that's the only downside
