South Pacific Motorcycle Tours

A friend and I had the pleasure of renting two bikes from South Pacific Motorcycle Tours earlier this month. I have rented motorcycles all over the world and have never experienced such exceptional service and quality machinery.The owners of this family run business— Mike & Carole—are as friendly and helpful as any on the planet. The motorcycles were in superlative shape, and we had no difficulties in our nine days of riding the South Island of New Zealand. I can’t think of a better place to ride motorcycles anywhere on the planet!We were on an unguided tour with just the two of us, each on separate bikes. We had no knowledge of the South Island and greatly appreciated all the little details that were prearranged. The bikes’ GPS were programmed including great places for fuel and lunch, as well as our destination hotel each night. All lodging was arranged. All side trips including fly fishing and boat tours were organized and prepaid. They took all the pain out of traveling in a new country. I’ve never experienced this level service anywhere! My great thanks for a wonderful motorcycle vacation!

Rented the Bonneville in 2018. Everything smooth and easy. Bike in top condition. Airport transfer, Luggage storage etc. is available.

Such a welcoming family business. So invested in female motorcyclists. Communication before i arrived was first class and they even picked me up and took me back to where I was staying. The induction was fantastic and I felt totally comfortable leaving in the pouring rain. Would love to come back again and highly recommend this business.

This was my second time renting from SPMT. Mike, Carole and Kim provide a fantastic service -- great bikes in top condition, friendly guidance as-needed for renters (they also do tours), and a comfortable home base for orientation, paperwork, and packing your bike for the ride.

This is an awesome company. Everything organized to the last detail. The tour leader very knowledgeable about stops for fuel and touristy stuff. Could not recommend this company enough. Lovely people that make you feel like family.

Rented a bike for 11 days from SPMT . Was a beautiful new bike Belle ( Tiger 900) . Kim was an absolute delight , and was always answering my queries before arriving Christchurch. Kudos to her and her family members for their dedication for making my biking trip with my wife an amazing enjoyable trip. Will definitely come by to rent again in the future.
