Te Atatu South Childcare

I am currently the centre's supervisor at Te Atatu South Childcare Centre. I have been a teacher at Te Atatu South Childcare Centre for over 14 years now and have loved every minute. I love that our small centre has a community feel and we can get to know all the families.

The best daycare a parent can wish for and dream of.My child had been going here for just over a year and we could not be happier with how she is being looked after, treated, supported and developed.All the teachers work as a cohesive unit and no child’s needs go unattended. This is something we had noticed on our first visit and have been consistently witnessing throughout the time our child has been attending.The best thing about this daycare(if the above information is not enough) is their genuine warmth and love for your children. On our first visit we thought that the babies in daycare were the teachers’ own kids. There were lots of cuddles, warmth, songs and laughter.Each child’s individuality is encouraged, supported and developed. My child has learnt amazing manners, coping skills and vocabulary thanks to the wonderful teaching of our patient, persevering, loving teachers.My child is currently transitioning to over 2’s room, but it’s no transition at all, the daycare makes it smooth, seemless and keeping each child’s needs in mind.The centre has lots of fun events, activities for kids and whanau, which allows parents to see their babies in their “natural habitat” at daycare and spend time with them mixing with other kids and parents.When you walk in, you feel like a part of a big family. I trust each and every teacher in the centre without a shadow of hesitation.All in all, I couldn’t recommend this place more and we are absolutely in love with all the teachers and this centre.

As a qualified and NZ registered teacher and a very protective Mama, I can hand over heart give Te Atatu South Childcare a 15/10 star rating.As a first time mom, there were many uncertainties about having someone else spend these precious moments with my daughter. My daughter was only 7 months old and the youngest baby at the time to be at Te Atatu Childcare. I was filled with doubt about if I was doing the “best” thing for both my daughter and myself.In all honesty, I have absolutely no regrets about my decision to enroll her at this facility. I have nothing but absolute appreciation and admiration for Te Atatu South Childcare. We are so thankful for all the patience, love and kindness you and your staff radiates on a daily basis. I know deep down in my heart that she will miss you all dearly. She has developed a love for school and socializing with her peers. She has become a confident explorer and a cheerful little soul.Thank you for everything you have done for our baby girl.

My son recently turned 5 and started school after just over a year at TASC. On his first day his teacher said ‘he was ready for school and did amazingly’. A lot of that credit goes to the amazing team at TASC and how they prepared him for the next steps in his learning journey.The experiences we had, the growth he achieved and things he learned with the team at Te Atatu South Childcare were amazing. I would recommend them to help set any child up for learning success.

Lovely, cosy and welcoming daycare centre with dedicated teachers. We love Te Atatu South childcare centre...they are focused on growing children's minds, emotions and having fun!

Our two boys currently attend the Te Atatu South Childcare Centre and we have been really happy with the care for our children. The Teachers are all really lovely and have taken a personal interest in the children. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Centre.

We love Te Atatu South Childcare. My oldest daughter started in 2013 and my younger daughter in 2016. All the staff feel like extended family and I love to hear how much fun they have had each day! Recently my 3yo became fascinated with the cranes we see on the way to Te Atatu each day and she told one of her teachers about it - they have now read books, drawn pictures and watched videos about cranes and she has been so excited to come home and tell us what she and Erin have learned about cranes each day! Can’t recommend highly enough if you are looking for childcare!

TASC is really well run but a group of amazing teachers. My little boy absolutely loves coming here and it’s so clear how much they care for him. We’re super grateful that TASC is part of our village!

Our daughter has been attending since she was almost one. The team in the under 2 room are so lovely and helpful transitioning baby (and Mum) from being at home, to being in daycare and back to work. 4 years later and the teachers are still amazing. So loving and caring. You know they genuinely are interested in the development of your child.We love how they celebrate different festivities and cultures. Lots of dress up and theme days to look forward to.We experienced 2 other childcare centres when we lived in a different area with our older child. Te Atatu South Childcare Centre is by far our favourite!

I wouldn’t send my son anywhere else. My son had been with TAS since he was 6months old and leaving him with strangers was a big deal. They were incredibly supportive in those early days, weeks and months sending updates frequently and letting us know how he is doing. He absolutely loves the staff and gets excited for spending the day in a loving place where learning and exploration is constantly nurtured. He is constantly learning and showing a wide variety of new skills everyday. What speaks volumes when you enter in the love and care the staff have for each other as well as the children. It truly feels like you and taken in as their family. Highly recommend!
